Where You Can Help and Where You Cannot

Some jobs are fine for a homeowner. You can take photos from the ground, check the attic for stains, clear a gutter from a safe spot and keep a list of dates and symptoms. That list helps a provider.

Other jobs need a pro. Walking on a steep, wet or icy roof is risky. Finding hidden deck rot, fixing flashing and replacing a whole roof take training, fall protection and proper tools. Leave those to a licensed provider.
